Anoka Highway 10 "Adopt a Highway" Cleanup Project
UMPA has now cleaned up our 2.8 mile stretch of HWY 10,
between Hansen and Foley Blvd. in Coon Rapids three times completely in our two years of sponsorship.
To date we have about 400 person hours invested in restoring
this portion of the Earth to beauty. We have already bagged approximately 350 bags of trash.
This area contains a small creek and several wetland areas. It is highly trafficked.
Our MNDOT sign was recently posted, on the North bound side of HWY 10, just past the Foley
interchange and at Hansen heading south bound. Please check it out, and send in a photo!
We finished our fall cleanup again in November 7th, with two teams each
